secutex Coilprotect - for long-term storage
In processing systems for split strip coils the narrow coils must be prepared in a vertical position in readiness for processing. There are repeated serious accidents at work caused by coils overturning.
It is becoming increasingly important to protect the manufactured sheet metal coils or those that are awaiting further processing. Sensitive foil coils, sometimes of a considerable weight, are regularly subjected to pressure points as a result of improper storage. These then cause problems during forming.
For long-term and secure storage
The secutex coil supports for split strip coils have been especially developed for simple and safe storage. The highly robust steel section frame is fitted with secutex impact protection on the storage surface.
secutex is an extremely robust and hardwearing type of polyurethane. secutex impact protection is resistant to the majority of oils and greases unlike most other types of rubber and recycling materials.
The system can be expanded
The secutex coil supports are of a modular design which allows several units to be simply plugged into each other.
