Testing

Sometimes the loads to be lifted are so important or so valuable that a failure of the load-carrying equipment may not be permitted to occur under any circumstances. Damage to a gas condenser or a generator, for example, would have dramatic consequences. The insurers of the delivery as well as the clients of the large-scale plant therefore insist on additional supervision by a neutral testing agency (e.g. TÜV, Dekra, GOST ).
For offshore use, testing by Germanischen Lloyd, Lloyds Register or Norske Veritas is required.

Load test


The practical test of the load-carrying equipment is the most important part of a neutral test. The load test can reliably demonstrate the durability of the produced lifting solution.
